Anime is my go to stress releaser. If that makes sense. I was exposed to anime at a very young age but didn't really realize the depth of anime and the genres of anime. When I was younger, I would watch Dragon Ball Z and Naruto thinking they were just random cartoon but very good cartoon. It was later in my life, when I was 15 years old that one of my friends came up to me and said "Hey, why don't you start watching anime?". I was like , "Which anime should I start with?". Then he gave me his hard drive which had full of anime and asked me to choose any. Since I was not very good with choosing randomly, I decided to go in the alphabetical order and it was then I officially started watching anime. Guess which anime I started with? Another. A horror anime. Beautiful.

How many anime have I watched?

I am someone who always tries to go to the extreme and always be up to date but lately I have felt the urge to just be up to date with many anime because I want to engage in discussions. However, I realized that I'm a person who could not really cope with disagreements and all. I have stopped really engaging in any discussions lately and have focused on just enjoying what I have. I have recently upgraded my MAL list, which by the way you guys can follow me on MAL with the username DheybaRashah. I'm currently watching 19 anime, Weekly releases of course. I have completed a lot of anime. According to my MAL list, it shows that I've completed 272 entries into the MAL. It doesn't necessarily mean I have watched 272 anime. But the way MAL is structured, each season is different. So if an anime has 5 seasons, it will be listed as 5 different entries. But I'm pretty sure I've watched around 70+ anime, which is honestly a really huge number.

What are my top 10 anime?

The list has changed as I kept watching new entries and all. And I believe right now these are the favorite anime of mine. These are in no particular order, I will just list down the 10 anime I feel is the best.

This was a short film I created using the application VN on my phone. I shot all the shots using the phone. The reason I created this short film was to vent out the frustrations I had when I was in quarantine after I entered Malaysia. 2 weeks were a pretty long time for a person to be holed up in a room and frankly speaking, I thought it would be a breeze since I wouldn't be talking to anyone and I would have all the privacy in the world! However, that was not the case as it made me go crazy, increasingly lazy, unable to focus on anything, and slowly becoming insane. The voices in my head kept telling me that I am lagging behind and I was drowning in these voices. Hence, I got up one day and decided to shoot 2 short movies after I discovered VN. And this is one of them

This short movie emphasizes on how you are drowning even though no one sees it. None of the clips were thought beforehand and I shot everything before I even though about the flow of the short movie. The voiceovers were also not planned before I made the video. Everything was put in, as it came to my mind. I believe that made this even more authentic. This logo was made specifically for my own branding on YouTube and many other platforms which goes by the name Dheyba Rashah. So what is Dheyba Rashah? I shall explain here right away.

Dheyba Rashah in English is roughly translated to "Go Back To Your Island/Home/Country". This is in Dhivehi , the language of Maldives. This was an inside joke between my friends and for some reason I adopted this phrase so much, it literally became something that was associated with me. In the logo you can see both D and R which represents Dheyba and Rashah separately. There is no real significance of the colors incorporated in this.

I have used this logo as the main logo for my blog, my YouTube and so many other platforms. This is one of the best looking logos I have and I really like it. This logo was made using Adobe Illustrator.

I was tasked to create a logo for my own imaginary company in one of the modules given by APU. My interest was keenly in making a gaming company and for the gaming company, I thought...... Why not make a face? And that too, the face of Medusa? Sure, the logo looks a lot like a ripoff of Starbucks but it's more than that. The face of Medusa is used in this along with some earrings to give it more effect as the "Queen of Proto-Octo". There is a spiral on the crown of the main character which I called Gayard, which represents that the character is able to manipulate the element of life, which is Water. There's also P and O on either sides of the tribal designs on the head of Gayard. Finally, the logo was finished with a bold red circle.

Then we were tasted to make a business card. So I thought, why not just go for it? I already have my color combinations which were Red and Black with White accenting. I made the designs accordingly and have done it. I hope you all like it! :D

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is probably my favorite anime of all time with its psychological horror aspects and the story being told by various aspects. I have a thing for anime, games, movies or basically anything which tells the stories from different characters perspectives, helping the users of the particular said content to understand the plot of the content much better. Higurashi (I will shorten this to make sure I don't repeat the whole name) is no exception. With the original Higurashi story being told by the perspective of the main 6 characters who I believe to be Furude Rika, Houjou Satoko, Maebara Keiichi, Ryuugu Rena, Sonozaki Shion and Sonozaki Mion, the perspective of the villain which is (SPOILER ALERT) Takano Miyo , the perspective of the officer Kuraudo Oiishi, the perspective of the other characters like Mamoru Akasaka, Tomitake Jirou, Irie Kyousuke, and many other plots coming in from various angles, made Higurashi my favorite anime.

The Opening songs of this said anime are also very impactful and very distinctive. Each opening song feels like it's telling some kind of a story, all the lyrics beautifully curated towards the main plot of the anime. The OSTs used in this are also immaculate. One OST that I love, is the main OST used in this anime, which reeks of horror but calmness. After learning Propellerhead Reason from my modules in APU, I decided to create this masterpiece.
